This is Release PD11.1.0 of phyCORE-AM3517 Compact 7 Board Support Package (BSP).
Introduction
This BSP provides a basis for development, deployment and execution of Compact 7 based applications on the phyCORE-AM3517 System on Module.
Release PD11.1.0 is based on the following:
- TI Release BSP_WINCE_A8 2.00.00.01
- X-loader
- Eboot
- Kernel

Important:
MCBSP and HDQ/1-Wire are available in BSP release but not tested.
What’s Not Supported
This BSP Release does not support the following components:
- Camera Interface (Hardware limitation on the PCM-961 Carrier Board)
- Audio: Line Out, Headphones, Loud Speakers, Mic In
- Power Management

Known Issues
- BSP hangs during Kernel boot up. This happens more often in Retail build with KITL enabled. This happens about 1-in-3 boots. The display will show a color pattern, but fail to proceed to the screen calibration. The temporary work-around is to re-boot. This will be fixed in the final release of the BSP from Texas Instruments.

Upgrade and Compatibility Information
To upgrade to a new BSP release, use the Windows uninstaller to remove the existing BSP via Start->Control Panel->Uninstall a program. Then install the new BSP using the Microsoft installer package, e.g., phyCORE-AM3517-Compact7_BSP_Source-PDxx.x.x.msi.

Drivers have been tested with a combination of in-house test cases, as well as with the Windows Embedded Compact7 Test Kit (installed along with Windows Compact 7) where applicable.
